Texas One Life CPR Training is committed to providing high-quality, compliant, and professional American Heart Association (AHA) training. The following policies ensure clarity, consistency, and a positive learning experience for all students.
1. Course Structure & Certification
Texas One Life offers American Heart Association–approved courses using the following formats:
Instructor-Led Classroom Courses
Blended Learning (eLearning + In-Person Skills Session)
For blended learning courses, students must:
Complete the required AHA eLearning course independently online.
Attend and successfully complete an in-person skills session with a Texas One Life AHA Instructor.
⚠️ Completion of the online portion alone does not result in certification. An AHA eCard is issued only after successful completion of the in-person skills evaluation.
2. American Heart Association Compliance
Texas One Life operates in accordance with all AHA Training Center Program Policies.
AHA course content is developed, owned, and maintained by the American Heart Association.
Texas One Life does not alter, modify, or rebrand AHA curriculum.
Certification cards are issued through the AHA Instructor Network upon successful course completion.
3. Registration & Payment Policy
Payment is required prior to class attendance unless otherwise arranged for approved group contracts.
Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.
Prices listed cover instruction, skills evaluation, and AHA eCard issuance (unless otherwise stated).
4. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds
Student Cancellations
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled class may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class or no-shows are non-refundable.
Texas One Life Cancellations
If Texas One Life must cancel or reschedule a class, students will be offered:
A full refund, or
Transfer to a future class date.
5. Skills Session & Course Requirements
Students must:
Arrive on time for scheduled classes or skills sessions.
Bring proof of completion for any required AHA eLearning certificate.
Actively participate in all skills practice and testing.
Students who do not meet AHA skill requirements may receive remediation but may be required to schedule an additional session.
6. Issuance of AHA eCards
AHA eCards are issued electronically within the AHA Instructor Network.
Most eCards are issued same day or within 24 hours of successful course completion.
Students are responsible for providing accurate personal information to ensure proper card issuance.
7. Health, Safety & Conduct
Texas One Life maintains a professional learning environment:
Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the course without refund.
Students should notify the instructor of any physical limitations prior to skills testing.
Participation in hands-on skills is required unless documented accommodations are arranged in advance.
8. Group, On-Site & Private Training
Texas One Life offers on-site training for:
Businesses
Churches
Schools
Community organizations
Private groups
Group pricing, minimums, and travel fees may apply. Written agreements will outline expectations and responsibilities.
9. Language Availability
Courses may be offered in English and Spanish, depending on availability. Students must select the appropriate language option at registration.

11. Legal Disclaimer
Texas One Life CPR Training provides education and skills training in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Completion of any course does not guarantee prevention of injury, illness, or death. Emergency outcomes depend on many factors beyond the scope of training, including scene safety, response time, and patient condition.
Texas One Life, its owners, instructors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for injuries, losses, damages, or claims arising from the use or misuse of skills learned in training, except where prohibited by law. Participation in hands-on training is voluntary, and students assume responsibility for their physical participation.

Texas One Life CPR Training se compromete a ofrecer capacitación profesional y de alta calidad conforme a los lineamientos de la American Heart Association (AHA).
Estructura del Curso y Certificación
Texas One Life ofrece cursos aprobados por la AHA en los siguientes formatos:
Cursos presenciales dirigidos por instructor
Aprendizaje combinado (eLearning + sesión presencial de habilidades)
Para los cursos combinados, el estudiante debe:
Completar el curso eLearning de la AHA en línea de manera independiente.
Asistir y aprobar una sesión presencial de evaluación de habilidades con un instructor certificado por Texas One Life.
⚠️ Completar únicamente la parte en línea no otorga certificación. La tarjeta oficial de la AHA se emite solo después de aprobar la evaluación presencial.
Inscripción, Pagos y Reembolsos
El pago es requerido antes de asistir a la clase, salvo acuerdos previos para grupos.
Las cancelaciones realizadas con 48 horas o más de anticipación pueden reprogramarse sin costo adicional.
Cancelaciones tardías o inasistencias no son reembolsables.
Sesión de Habilidades y Tarjetas AHA
Los estudiantes deben llegar puntualmente y presentar su certificado de eLearning si aplica.
Las tarjetas AHA (eCards) se emiten electrónicamente, generalmente el mismo día o dentro de 24 horas.
Conducta, Seguridad y Responsabilidad Legal
Texas One Life mantiene un ambiente de aprendizaje profesional y seguro. El comportamiento inapropiado puede resultar en la expulsión del curso sin reembolso.
