Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Heartsaver® and BLS certification?

1

Heartsaver® is designed for the general public — teachers, coaches, parents, and workplace employees with little or no medical training. BLS (Basic Life Support) is designed for healthcare providers such as nurses, physicians, EMTs, and paramedics. BLS covers more advanced techniques including bag-mask ventilation and team-based resuscitation. Both courses are AHA-certified and valid for two years.

How do I get CPR certified in Texas?

2

Texas One Life offers hands-on, AHA-certified CPR courses across Texas. You can register for an upcoming class online, or contact us to schedule onsite training at your location. Upon completing the course, you receive an official AHA certification card valid for two years.

3

Yes. Texas One Life specializes in onsite group training for businesses, schools, churches, and community organizations across Texas. Our certified instructors come directly to your location. Contact us to discuss your group size, course needs, and scheduling.
